Explosions in the Sky

Explosions, brilliant streaks of metal paint the sky,
An atomic war zone,
Full of anger, animosity, and hate,
Bombs detonate left and right.
The ocean waves never fail to rise or to fall,
Although they are involved in a great fireball-
Blood stained water greets the sand,
The blues and greens,
So serene it seems at peace.
