More of the Same
More unperfect poetry,
can never successfully capture all that you meant to me.
Who knew that one day,
All those things you said would be overplayed.
But then I'll get swept up in your smile,
And my heart will be yours, at least for awhile.
All those lies you sang to me,
Kept me far from being free.
Maybe one day you'll let me go,
Or fall in love with the girl i used to know.
This will certify that the above work is completely original.
Mary Arbor.
