Dear Jesus
Dear Jesus there’s a man on the street
He hasn’t got a family
Or a morsel for to eat.
Dear Jesus there’s a widow all alone
She’s wondering who to turn to
To heal her broken home.
Dear Jesus there’s a girl in her room
She’s sobbing from her heartbreak
Wishing he’d come to her soon.
Dear Jesus all our soldiers wet and cold,
Just want to come back home to us
And live to be so old.
Dear Jesus there’s so many trials and crosses
But we’re asking for your help tonight
Please help us deal with losses.
Dear Jesus please fill us with your love
It’s the greatest gift we’ve ever had
A blessing from above.
