In the Darkness
In the darkness, I cannot see
So I think…
I think of a place where the shadows do not roam
And the screams do not pierce the night
All I think of
Is the stars
The curious, forever mocking and taunting stars
They shine through even the dread that fills the hearts of the feeble
They destroy the murky mist that muddles my thoughts
They make me feel almost as if I belong
As if I can become part of them
As if I will never again be alone
Life must start from a single speck
So why not let this speck be happiness
Happiness that will live on
This speck helps me find peace
Even in the darkness
