Wind Chimes and Nursery Rhymes
Your voice when you sing to me
Are like the wind chimes in the day.
Twinkling metal songbirds fill my ears,
As the wind caresses my sorrow away.
Tell me stories of the lost sheep of Bo Peep.
Or the daring escapes of the Three Blind Mice.
The generous wool from the black sheep,
Or Hot Cross Buns at the right price.
Our voices combine and together we dance.
Spinning entwined hands in our rosie ring.
Two metal songbirds caressed by the wind.
My favorite nursery rhymes we sing.
