I Miss You
Staring out at the boxes in the hall
Everyone else is sobbing and crying, but I don't feel anything at all
You used to tell me life was a game, you just have to know how to play it
But after what you did I think you were so full of sh*t
How could you let me down like this, how could you just go and leave?
I read the words on the paper, but I can never let myself believe
You were the strong one, the one I looked up to
You were the one who was there for me, the one that I went to
But I guess it didn't matter much because you left you skipped town
You left all of my building aspirations like dominoes to fall down
I don't even care really, I'll just let them fall
Just like you fell, you didn't try to fight back at all
You told me that quitting wasn't an option, that I had to stay strong
But I should have known you to be the hypocrite all along
I'll just sit in your empty room staring blankly into the hall
All the while pretending that I don't miss you at all
