The Intensity of a Flame
Intensity ignites a flame in my heart
Burning for days on end.
Powered by endless encounters of love
And gaining energy on pain.
Growing larger in size from salty tears
And sprouting from the cracks of a broken heart.
There is no stopping an intensified flame
For all it is, is love.
One cannot replace what has been burnt
After the intensified fire has taken it from me.
Taking over my life and running my soul
The fire is all that I feel.
Whether that is good or bad?
I do not know, but
Needless to say, the fire never burns out.
