Masquerade
Into my bed I finally fell
Wanting nothing more than to end it all
End this pain that consumes my heart
Lying here in breaking apart
Behind a mask of happy eyes
This is where my sadness hides
If only my thoughts I could share
Share to someone who feels my despair
Around here it’s forever a masquerade
People always carrying their blades
Blades used only for betrayal
In the backs of others the blades are impaled
Under this one person thunderstorm I stand
Holding what’s left of my heart in my hand
Rain pours and tears runs make up smears
At last my happy mask disappears
