"I Still Believe"
I reach out my hand waiting… just waiting.
Waiting for the memories my tears were creating.
I opened my eyes waiting to see,
to see you again next to me.
I turned around waiting for you,
waiting to do the things we use to do.
Time ran out in our friendship and lives.
We ended up fighting and telling lies.
You’re no longer the person I’d call a friend,
but somewhere deep down, it’s not the end.
I still believe.
