The room is dark.
Are you very much afraid?
You still think I am a child
By everything that is sacred to you.

Why is it over?

I know she counts the days,
She that loves me more than all the world.
By everything that is sacred to you,
I will pray for you every day.

Why is it over?

Back to you and me alone, Mother.
Everyone is silent.
I am little more than a child.
I can sleep enough later.

Why is it over?
