The Old Clock Ticking
A spirit crushed
From a tired tongue
Years of silence bickering
Beneath my body
That once was carried
To the old clock ticking
So many regrets
Not one different
Fear controlled my thoughts
Love went to waste
Because I felt haste
About who would wind up the clocks
Since all of my dreams
Now drown in the sea
Nightmares take over too quickly
About the boy who loved me
The one who stopped carrying me
To the old clock swiftly ticking
