Long Gone
It was over a year, my poor dear.
I called you up you sounded less then sincere. You said we were over and there was no cure.
Little did I know you were already long gone. Like a Taylor Swift song, it went all wrong.
I heard what you did, of what you hid, im not a dumb kid.
You broke my trust, like celebrities rip from cuffs, my emotions to you were nothing but dust.
Always playing the victim, so everyone would pity you while I was getting fingers pointed at me like a gun. I stood in shock wondering how far i'd have to run to make this all be done.
I hate to think you loved me, I was in love but I guess you lacked to see, i'm just another ex, that's all ill ever be.
