Thought Crime 1984
Someone being caught
With a very simple thought
To change the people's mind
And make time rewind
Back to the year
When love was all we could hear
But now it's just hate and rage
And us like animals being placed in a cage
By the leading body we trusted
With the bars that are deceit incrusted
A jail with a mental constitution the won't amend
They'll let you write a letter that never will they send
To the ones that you love
Or the ones that they know can rise above
And defeat their oppressive power
So all over the land they do scour
For a person who can be caught
With that one simple thought
