Brick of Truth
Listening deep
For her secret to seep
Her lies to unfold
Synthetic truth getting old
I fell for a w****
That knew I knew no more
Between a clever parlor trick
And the truth that hit me like a brick
I fall on my face
And scream into space
The love that I knew
I would soon come to rue
Taking her off the mental pedestal I had placed her on
She being the worst of them all, a concubine con
Yet she be not in the wrong for this truth indeed
No matter what, she kept her courtesan creed
Knowing that synthetic truth be what I need
And planting in my mind a happy life seed
And I know I fell for a w****
That knew I knew no more
Between a clever parlor trick
And the truth that hit me like a brick
