A Trip to The Brain Salon
They deem me crazy
Completely unorthodox
They make my eyes glazy
And put me in a sponge covered box
My arms wrapped around
Giving myself a hug
I can't make a sound
And can only move like a bug
Inching my way
Back and forth
Rocking the day away
Trying to sustain my mental worth
But as everyday passes
So does a piece of my sanity
The amount of voltage compared to the last surpasses
And hinders my humanity
I wasn't crazy when I came in
But something changes when you're with them
I now accept how this must end
Maybe my brain could use a little trim
