Black Angel
Black Angel
O how you lie,
Tell me, where landed your halo when you fell?,
When you let all your pureness die.
Those who've trusted you
lay aching and burned,
but those of us who knew
shy'd away when you returned.
Black Angel,
We knew you once upon a time,
we thought we knew you well.
You've changed on the flip of a dime
and have become the epitome of hell.
Your evil ways taint me no longer,
leave to never return
I've grown up, gotten stronger.
It's taken time, but I've come to learn
your heartless and cruel
you've taken the one that loved you most and wronged her.
Black Angel,
One might wonder why I call you this,
It's because you were once well
One day something went wrong, something went amiss
In the angel's mind, and then she fell.
