Love in the Hills
Ever since I was a child
You were always the one who smiled
So strong and bold
With a heart of gold
As we grew
We had a change of view
We fell in love
And had a wedding of doves
Now we sit on the hill full of logs
Watching the shepherds heard their flocks with dogs
We see the snow peaked mountains
And the crystal water fountains
We lay in the grass, watching birds in flight
Flying at such a great eight
We sit side by side the fire, when there is gray in the clouds
And when the thunder is loud
Before he goes
He always a red rose
When he returns his smile will shine
Knowing he is mine
Here we sit in the house
With the field mouse
Where he fixes it up
And I fill the tea cups
