My Love At Midnight
I am watching at the stars, watching at the moon
So just I can remember,
My midnight love
The love I cant ever forget
Even though I am dead
This love was long before, for a long time
The ‘love’ of a life for me
I don’t know about you
Every midnight I screamed close to your home,
I said ”I love you”
Hearing my scream,
Far away, I saw you crying & coming towards me
You, kissing into my leaps. Me, holding you tight
This was my love, “My love at midnight”
I screamed “I love you” many nights at midnight
You did the same many nights at midnight
Then one midnight . . . . .
You heard my screams but didn’t come to me,
You didn’t come closer to me & didn’t kiss me
Then next night. . . . .
I screamed again “baby, I love you. Why don’t you come?”
Then I saw . . . .
You kissing another boy, a different guy
By forgetting me . . . .
But still now,
I scream at midnight, but now not near to your house
But I scream in my deep soul
That’s “my love at midnight”
