Ode to Anonymous
Oh Anonymous, how do you do it?
Be so wise;
yet,
so humble
put on a show,
then turn into
mush.
The scent of your silvery smell
fills the air,
as you walk into the room.
Be so kind to all,
and remove negativity
from my life.
You do everything and ask nothing,
in return.
Why?
I know I could
Not. Live abnegated and
considerate.
supportive and sympathetic,
You.
Sunnily smiling,
but inside
Your natural scent of regret fills
my heart with sorrow.
Please, let me help you. I can try to be
of assistance.
And you,
you love me too,
true?
Sounds of disappointment crash down when I
don’t fulfill your expectations.
I try to be the best that I can
Be.
Why don’t you believe me.
And although I don’t show it,
And despite all our differences,
And contrary to your beliefs;
Oh Anonymous, I love you so,
Please.
Both of you,
never let me go.
