Strange World
I look around the world
Yet I don’t know where I am
The world I’m supposed to be at looks so…
Different
None of these horrible things
Now I see death
I see suffering
I see hate
I see terrorists
I see…
Oh I see such bad things
And for what?
For religion
For sexuality
For gender
Or just to win?
While the world is in toil
We sit around rooting for our troops
For our right abusing laws
For our contracts
For our hate
So I must ask…
Where is the world I saw before?
The one of peace
The one of hope
The one of love
Is it too late to get back that world?
Because I can’t live much longer here
