We live in a society where your social interactions depend,
On the number of Twitter Followers you have or your Facebook friends,
We live in a society where rappers and prisoners set trends,
And the kids who follow in their footsteps hit dead ends,
Arguments are no longer civil, or happen face to face,
They've turned into degrading comment wars in cyberspace,
We live in a society where lyrics don’t need to make sense,
And kids live off energy drinks and the drugs their dealers dispense,
We live in a society that no longer appreciates food,
As long as it’s served quickly, it’s hot, and the cashier isn’t rude,
Ask a kid who Jesus was and he’s not sure he knows,
But he sure does know how the Big Mac song goes,
We live in a society obsessed with looks and physique,
Butcher and shape our bodies, and end up looking like freaks,
We live in a society of discriminatory folks,
Our culture flooded with stereotypes and racist jokes,
We live in a society that destroys the creative mind,
And we just make a god of the nearest idiot we can find,
We live in a society too stupid to care and too brainwashed to resist,
And what we call “culture”, no longer exists.
