To Hell with the End
To hell with the ones who disagree
Everything is fine
Sure, it hurts to breath sometimes
But the pain is just sublime
When the things you control
All turn out to be naught
And the past you tried so hard to hide
Is begging to be caught
You leave today; you just can't stay
Hidden on memory lane
But when running from time
Your feet covered in grime
You realize you're in pain
Running away but really just in place
Your fears you stand with face to face
Upon a wall, a desperate call
Chilling noises in the night
From the hunter to the hunted
The darkness in the light
The haunting to the haunted
Too tired to put up a fight
You keep on writing to the wind
Desperate love notes to the friend
Losing your courage to hit send
All while waiting for the end
