Whispers In The Dark
I can still hear the whispers of the dead,
The silence of the night grows still louder.
The towns kids have already been fed,
The street is slowly covered in powder.
It's hard to move without making a sound,
But I mustn't stay here, it is not safe.
On I continue so I am not found,
He's coming for me at my true pace.
I keep running, but he's getting faster,
I hate these thoughts running through my own head,
He's finally got me, tat devils master.
I screamed out, "no!" the last words I had said.
I wake frightened, broke into cold sweat,
Relieved that we had never even met.
