Yours
I can do this again with my porcelain heart
Re-live the four hundred and eighty days of falling apart
Tobacco-flavored lips and whiskey-stained teeth
An ashtray mouth where I held my tongue beneath
"The most important things are the hardest to say"
Something's stuck in my throat I have to cough it away
It's in the fragile and thin smoke rising above
I want to be suffocated by your secondhand love
A chewed straw where the trachea is hung
There's a rainstorm capsizing ships in my lungs
Enkindled butterflies in my grenade stomach
Who says an earthquake is just a hazard of tectonic
When it can happen inside someone so frail
And could instantly break the Richter Scale?
We can stitch up our wounds for them to heal
But we can't shut our emotions for the things we don't want to feel
The tail of this poem is the most important part
Please let me love you again with the broken pieces of my broken heart
