Tiptoeing across
the garden of glass
not broken, not sharp, tranquil

Every move I make
Is performed with grace
If not the glass may shatter

This smooth thin film
Awaits every play
Waiting for me to break

This piece was inspired by a photograph of a glass exhibit. This poem holds a metaphor to ponder while reading. What do you see? What does it mean?
