The same path
I clutch the tip of my saree tight
Careful through the street dimlight
Fear and pain meddled in me
Silently, I peep and try to get a better see
I feel steady steps behind the wall
One could hear my heart rise and fall
Almost from a mile away and more
She was last seen in this broken lane
Fought hard, till they dragged her through the rain
This very path ,she was last seen
Since then this is how its always been
Passing by ,terrified at our own shadows
Because lurking by is a man escaped from gallows
