Redemption
"He measured out the water
in the hollows of his hand,"*
He walked a long the beach,
left His footprints in the sand.
Though loose His garments hung,
and tattered at the hem,
The wise knew they'd be healed
just at the touch of them.
I wish to feel this power;
I wish to see His face;
I wish to know more fully
the wonders of His grace.
Lord, make my footprints humble
(wherever they may fall),
And keep me wise and ready
for when Thy voice will call.
Help me to be like Moses
--to come through to the promised land--
And measure out the water
in the hollows of Thy hand.
*Isaiah 40:12
