Darkness, Darkness Everywhere
Darkness, Darkness everywhere,
Like a shell with no care.
A void of hate, malicious intent,
The ghost of blades and discontent.
A starless night filled with fog,
rolling slowly through the bog.
The sea of Death, waves so deep,
Crash and tear in my sleep.
Darkness, Darkness, everywhere,
I sea it crawling in despair.
A torrent of bullets rain down from above,
Crying and shouting with no love.
An apple of wisdom its bite contains,
Nothing of hope, no life remains.
Of course it’s inside us; spitefulness too.
For evil will stay; a bleak residue.
Darkness, Darkness, do you know?
A seed, once planted, can only grow.
