From the 'Net
I am from the ‘net, you see
I call Facebook my eyes and Google my feet
I have Twitter for a tongue, and Yahoo!News I call my brain
I’m pretty sure it’s Tumblr that is running through my veins
I met all my friends on Netflix, and Fanfiction is where we meet
When I WRITE the story I can choose what to delete
Real life isn’t easy and it’s so hard to connect
it makes me think it’s easier just living on the ‘net
I spend so much time on youtube watching others innovate
that I forget that I as well can inspire and create
I spend every second chatting, I am amused and entertained
and yet my soul feels empty and my heart is somewhat strained
It’s easy to condemn me as a weirdo and a freak
but turn that judgment on yourself and your argument grows weak
You’ll probably deny it, but I think we both know that it’s true
though you try to hide it, you're from the internet too!
