Tender Darkness
The tender darkness still looms in my room
No more gloom or talk of doom
I feel the rain in the blackness of the night
Don’t need love, don’t need light
Its alright
The flames of this inferno burn just as bright
I just might take another breath,
Step away from death and take a rest
From the hatred I invest, in every test in every word I say
Hoping that the next one makes it all okay
Day after day after day
I'm tired, but I won't stop here, you can hear
The world drawn near enough to fear but also hold dear
I won't cry, hold my tears at bay for a day
I'll go out with my friends and play
Forget about my woes and worries,
No longer in a hurry, I create the world clear, unblurry
This fury stays back
I control it, I attack,
Even if my life is off track

I want to move on from this sadness, I shall do so now.
