The Dance of Nature
Woods of grace and power gone
As fairy a dance and hop along
The moss grows cold under the trees long limbs
As it dances in the everlasting wind
As it's roots drink from the ground
And it's leaves clean our air
Our water is as clean and pure
Stars dance in the everlasting night
They look down on the tree with graceful delight
The morning dew makes the plants look glassy
As the creamy sky cries down and drowns the earth
And to the cover that the great tree bears
And the supple grass silken and soft
Then the daylight warmths makes it tough
The dance of nature now closes a halt
And stars flicker goodbyes
And the moon says goodnight
As the sun claims the sky
And says to them all in words unspoken
That the dance has ended to continue again
