She shakily opens the backdoor
She's crying so hard
she can barely see anymore
As she sets her keys in the kitchen drawer
looking around her empty house
she just can't take it anymore
Rolling up her sleeves
it's not that bad she screams
rolling up her sleeves
She cries but nobody dares to ask
they just walk on past
her bloody tears stain the worn down floor
paced on for hours or more
she's fading away
Ducking out of the chaos crowd
trying to find a quiet place
trying to clear her mind
All of her bills are piling up
can she ever make it till the end of the month?
she falls to the ground
Hide that knife
is it really worth your life?
hide that knife
She cries but nobody dares to ask
they just walk on past
her bloody tears stain the worn down floor
paced on for hours or more
she's fading away
Doctor, doctor, is she asleep?
tell me doctor, doctor, why does she scream in her sleep
doctor, doctor why is she stone cold?
doctor, doctor, she has finally gone home
She cries but nobody dares to ask
they just walk on past
her bloody tears stain the worn down floor
paced on for hours or more
she's fading away
