The heartbreak was in her eyes
when he siad he didnt love her
for so long now she'd lived in the shadows of his lies
but now she saids proud and sure

it was then that he wanted to hold her forever
and draw her into his arms as he had so many times before
in that instant he knew he'd miss her
but all she did was whisper,
