this strange goodbye
In the dead silence
I listen to her silent scream
So loud
So quiet
It sounds so wired to me
That someone can be in so much pain
I want to help but then I see
The scream,
Its all me,
Only now do I notice
My tears so sad
Which stain my eyes a scarlet red
And the blood so warm
Which stains my leg
The aspirin scattered on the floor
The chair blocking my bedroom door
The letter lying next to me
Addressed to mommy and daddy
I understand what is happening
And I feel so glad
I'm almost gone my friends,
so long
don't feel to sad,
I'm not worth your tears
You should be glad
I only hurt you,
Made you cry
I think its best that now I die.
Only now do I realise I'm still alive.
