Inevitability
Some things just must be the way they be
Though we may rage out against them in our adversity
As though we can possibly change what must be.
Though savages may rant against what they see
And attempt to change these things foolishly
Unaware that some things just must be.
The marks of tribulations are indelibly, inescapably,
Here to haunt; the claims, otherwise, are like pollen, easily scattered in the wind,
As though we could change what we must be.
Sometimes these men may go unmoved, as they believe
Their intransigence just may move, though in denial that
Some things just must be.
Sometimes men try to change these things that must be
Through their thoughts, just like balloons can be easily popped,
As though we can change what must always be.
Some things just must be the way they be;
Though savages and wise men claim alike otherwise,
As though we could change what must be,
Some of these things just must be.
