God was with me
God was at that concert with me.
He sang the hit songs,
He mosh pitted with us and took all the videos he possibly could.
He got frustrated at the tall people and annoyed with the annoying,
clapping and taking off his jacket.
He screamed when she came out in her skimpy outfit,
cheered when she swore.
He bought a T-shirt and switched that for his robe,
liking the way it fit him nicely.
He forgot to tell His parents where He was going,
they called eighteen times. He didn't get in trouble.
He recognized the Vegas smell,
He really partied.
and after the concert, when I prayed to Him,
He told me how wrong it was.
