Peace
I wish that I
could lie down
in a field full
of flowers
and stare at
a cloud-filled sky.
And not have a
care or a worry.
That day may come
but not today...
I have projects
and deadlines
and things to do.
But I will
hold on to the slim
hope that one day,
some day, within me
all will be tranquil,
like a soft field full
of gently swaying
flowers.
