Ode to the Dungeons
Ancient walls encompass knowledge and depth,
Ages ago, founders charmed this haven
To embody intention of all hearts,
From its doors prowl immeasurable nerve,
Lumber proud unwavering loyalty,
Soar inventive intellect, whole and keen.
But internal battles rage beneath airs
The dungeons drip uncertainty; love, shadow
Question slithers beneath pallid, cold skin
He lingers indebt keeping old favors
He cannot detest you so potently
As he will abhor his own reflection
So, safe you seem from this monster below
But tempting dislike could bring grave outcome
