Different Thinking
Different Thinking
Twists of purple
shades of pink and blue
the color of personality
of beauty in a child's eyes
Slabs of blue
painted stars and moons
the night sky
to the one who sleeps in the cradle
Faded reds
carved hearts and petals
of the one who plants her garden
in which her daughter gazes in curiousity
The many colors of the world
painted, slabbed faded, and twisted
they're all the same
like the confusions of our world
Meaningless to those who don't care
and pointless to those with no hope at all
but in an infant's eyes
they are the beauty of living
