I can see you scowl through your teeth.

While you’ve disguised your insecurities in a judgemental wreath, Your intolerant opinion you need not share.

 

No, I don’t care what you have to say, Claire,
Because your words are a malicious knife in a deprecating sheathe, I’m wearing purple lipstick, do you think I care?

 

So what if my beauty creates a blinding glare?

I love the skin that my makeup is underneath.

Mock my bright makeup and messy hair,
These words you speak make you out to be an untamed heath. I’m wearing purple lipstick, do you think I care?
