Clowns
It was a dark night,
But not one to give you a fright.
Even though I was scared.
I had to do this, I was dared.
I was as scared like an elephant spooked by a mouse
I just wish I would have been at my house
Walking up to the creepy dirt street
I wish I could go meet up with Pete
While walking down the street,
Staring at my feet,
I looked up to see now I was surrounded by trees.
That's when I felt something bump against my knees.
When I looked down and that's when my smile went to a frown.
Now I thought I would definitely see a clown.
This felt like something out of a cartoon,
Because at my feet there was a red balloon.
All of a sudden I heard loud pounding
I scurried around to check my surroundings
And then my heart just fell right down down
Because what was down the street was a clown.
I dashed the opposite way,
Wishing I did this during the day
My heart raced
I could hear that I was being chased.
I kept running until I ran into a fence
This situation was very intense
I turned around knowing he was there.
I wish I didn’t get this stupid dare.
He looked very faded because it was night,
I could tell his face was pale white.
His pants were yellow with big red, pink, and blue spots.
His shirt was red with orange and yellow dots.
His hair was long and puffy and an ugly bright red.
At that point I wish I would have been dead
that wasn’t even the worst part, the worst was his smile.
When he started to talk, I just jumped the fence and ran about a mile.
The clown was laughing, he thought it was funny
While I ran away like a small, fast bunny
I ran and ran as fast as I can,
I was running faster than my mom driving her van
I zipped and dash through trees
I got out of the woods and began to wheeze
While gasping for air
I realized how weird it was Pete was there
I was so confused nothing made sense
So I asked him “Why are you here I thought you were on the other side of the fence”
He said “No man it’s just a prank, I thought you would think its funny.”
It was not funny and it made me feel crummy
I just went home
And watched youtube on my phone.
My bed is wear I lied
Thinking about the night I almost died
