My Friends
I never knew why it hurt.
This horrible thing started with a game
But all his silly words made me feel like dirt.
And it all started with a couple mean names
I knew that she used to care about me
but it was too risky, she was too close.
She could see through me, only she could see
Through all my pain. I have hurt her the most.
My heart is heavy like a block of lead.
All his insults stack up like a tower
All these bad thoughts running through my head
I am better, I will overpower.
Then as all of her strength began to flow
We watched all his insecurities show
