Sunset Fades
The day was glorious.
Sky shining, white blowing by blue.
Broke through the horizon,
Like an egg cracking,
An egg cracking,
Eggs crack with the slightest touch.
Into the sky, I fly,
Full of life and courage,
Sunset reels the light in,
And it crawls down the sky to rest.
The sky turns from blue to red to black,
Water turns from blue to red to black,
Caught by sunset today,
Fire emerges tomorrow.
