Too scared to take the jump,
Like a monster that can eat emotions up,
Not ready to give in,
The fight seems almost as tough,
Screams never seem to get loud enough,
like an epidemic that doesn't show up,
The thought is coming closer,
Water is soon to rise,
There is no escape now,
All that's left to do is cry.
