The Unknown
The unknown just inches away
Reaching, taking in the above and below.
To touch the unknown,
Would shatter reality.
Would never have
Thought it would be possible
For the entire world,
To be so small, yet beautiful
Leaning, stretching out
For some glimpse of the world
Something other than the known
Something shockingly unknown.

This poem was also done as a project for school and we had to use paintings as our inspiration. This one was inspired by a painting of a snail reaching out to pop a bubble.
