A strangers hand - out for you to take
A smile you give - a friend to make
A room of silence with flickers of light
Everyones thinking of someone different tonight
Eating together someone new is now old
Sharing you with stories told
The photos and memories you want it all back
To just sit there once more with the darkness at your back
Being there felt safe - they wanted us to be us
We held on tight to there given trust
The last night came , we all wanted to stay
Sitting in the silence - found as we pray
Now its easy to give everyone a second look
