Is life worth living

If I lost interest in life?

I don’t want to die

But I don’t want to live.

I’m afraid of goodbye

But it’s hard to survive

In a world gone rotten

And twisted. I’m scared

And I’m done

With being dared

To be myself

While countless voices

Whisper that my own self

Has only one choice:

Live by our rules

And live by our opinions

For only a fool

Wouldn’t be our minions.

We believe we live in a nation under God

When we really we live like cattle

Being steered with a rod

By our leaders to war; to battle

With precious souls;

With fellow men.

We divide ourselves with flagpoles.

We bicker over seas again and again.

War after war,

It never will end.

This world has become a wh**e

To battle; A wound we can’t mend.

God used to rule this nation

But he gave up years ago

Now contention

Runs this blight show

Puppeting politicians

To hand feed

Us with fake information.

They’ve fried

Our minds to believe

Their lies, that we

Must grieve

Over how he or she

Is living life better.

One has a better money.

One has a better face.

One lives of being funny.

We’ve made life a human race

To be the best

In everything we do.

Life made me become stressed

It’s no good trying to be you.

Is life worth living

If I’ve lost interest in life?
