That one small four letter word

That changes everything . The moment

You hear it, the moment you say it, your vulnerable .

It can blind you in ways you may never notice,

Your so wrapped up in it you can ́t see

how much Is lacking between you two

No trust , no promises kept .

The other females he was calling beautiful

While he was holding you .

How could you let him ruin any self esteem you had ?

How could you continue to say it was okay and make

Excuses for him when heś so bad for you .

The excruciating ache and numbing you begin to

Feel as he leaves you...

Walk away before he does , for your sace .

The author's comments:

I am in my late teens almost reaching the point of adulthood . I wrote this piece to share my experiences and the betrayal that comes along with relationships . I've learned a lot and grown in many ways because of this story . But it does still affect me to this day . I'm graduating at the end of January so first semester so I am graduating early and will begin to travel a lot more and begin my career while doing so .
