The Toppled Crayons
I loved you more than my crayons
I loved you more than its colours
I loved you more than the minions
it creates through its showers
Just a little before, as I drew my work of art
in my pad, My crayons toppled down
And broke apart just like my heart,
when you were with another Middlemist Red in town
My dear, I might be just a common rose
But I truly carried a torch for you
and not only that my drawing pad knows
But also, that I expected you'd truly love me too
All my love for you is in my drawing pad
I drew it with my crayons, the very ones
that toppled due to me, making me feel bad
And they were broken and were out of stuns
I took them, stuck them back with super-glue
And drew with them again, they were good
I coloured me, I coloured you
I mused on your 'vow' of love, now hidden in your hood
The crayons are you, you are four-star
Not the same, but fine, in toto fine
But, the smears from the crayons on the tiles there,
can't be wiped hand over fist, like this heart of mine

And for your doubt, I added Middlemist Red because the Middlemist's Red flower is considered the rarest flower in the world. And it is way beautiful than a rose. The narrator/artist mentions herself as a common rose in the next line. That is because her special someone left her for a person who was more beautiful, more unique and more different than her. I hope your doubt is clarified.
But, I have a doubt, in the last line in the second stanza, why did you add Middlemist Red? You'd have another flower like rose or lily as they sound like names of girls and they are short. Why did you choose Middlemist Red?
This poem is about an artist who thinks of her long lost love in which she loved truly but the wrong person. As she crayoned her picture, her crayons fell into chunks, onto the floor. That made her dwell upon her past love. She flashed back the incident in which she realized that she adored the wrong person. She cries sadly of her love as she reveals that the drawing pad had pictures drawn by her about her love. She finally fixes the crayons with super-glue and compares it to her past lover while she compares her heart to the smears on the tiles of her floor, which cannot be erased easily.
