The Life and Death of a Man

Life, to him, was all just a game
Filled with money, women, and fame
His friends were sycophantic and countless
But he collected then abandoned regardless
He sowed and sowed but never reaped
People followed him like blind sheep
He destroyed his body and his mind
He left his parents and sisters all behind
So finally someone had a change of heart
She told him she did not want any part
He tore her to pieces, through her head
And left her, publicly, for dead
But she lifted herself off the ground
Her resolve becoming steel without a sound
She faced him, again, with a hardened face
Today she was going to show him his place
She pulled the trigger with nothing left to say
It is not like anyone will miss him anyway
